Guided by the theme “Shaping the Future of Health through Research, Emerging Technologies, and Education”, the 47th Forum highlights our collective commitment to excellence in research, education, and healthcare. It celebrates the work of students, faculty, researchers, and professionals who are shaping the future of health by addressing today’s most pressing challenges and envisioning sustainable solutions for tomorrow.
The Forum will be held from March 17 to 19, 2027, at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This in-person event will provide participants with the opportunity to fully engage in presentations, discussions, and networking.
As the premier academic event of the Medical Sciences Campus, the Forum offers an exceptional platform for scholarly exchange and intellectual growth. Participants from Puerto Rico, the United States, and beyond will come together to present groundbreaking research, share best practices, and engage in thought-provoking discussions. Through this dynamic exchange of ideas, we strengthen our mission to improve health outcomes, reduce disparities, and elevate the standard of healthcare education and practice.

The 47th Annual Research and Education Forum of the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus invites faculty, researchers, healthcare professionals, residents, students, alumni, and members of academic and community organizations from Puerto Rico and around the world to submit their work for presentation at the Forum.

⏰ Abstract Submission Deadline: November 14, 2026
Abstracts must be prepared and submitted following the new Guidelines for Preparing and Submitting Abstracts, available on the Forum’s official website.
📍 All oral and poster presentations will be held in person at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
